40 week 1 day.....overdue!

How far along?: 40 weeks 1 day
Total weight gain: 30lbs.  I actually went back down 2lbs this week.....nothing to complain about there.
How big is baby?: I had an ultrasound this week at my appointment at 39 weeks 6 days.  They estimated the baby is currently 7lbs 5oz.......+/- one pound.....so basically between 6-8lbs.  Shocker!  She measured at the 55% for size so they were very happy with growth.  Fluid was still good at 10, they definitely want above 5. 
Maternity clothes?:  Yep
Stretch marks?  Nope
Sleep?: Ugh, well still waking 1+ times per night for the restroom and I've had several nights where I just don't go back to sleep sometimes, so I've been up at 4am for a few days.
Best moment this week?: Working my last day of work and seeing our little girl on ultrasound again!  I made it through my 4 day stretch and likely won't go back until 10 weeks after baby.  I could go in Monday/Tuesday if I don't have the baby, but I doubt I will.  Baby looked so cute on ultrasound again.  We saw her breathing fluid in there and her hand was up by her face again. 
Movement?:  Still trying to stretch out sometimes and seems to be extra active at night usually.
Food cravings?: Nothing special
Labor signs?: Well, the doctor checked me and I'm a whopping 1cm and only 30% effaced.  Not looking like anytime soon.  She asked, "so, what do you want to do?".  Uh....wait longer.  She was good with that and I go back on Monday for an NST, fluid ultrasound, and probably get checked/membranes striped again.

What I miss: Every conversation with people NOT starting with "When do you think the baby will come?"  I wish I knew!
What I'm looking forward to: Just waiting for baby!  And hoping not to be induced.....

39 weeks and Nursery!

How far along?: 39 weeks 2 days!
Total weight gain: 32lbs?  Oy! 
How big is baby?: The belly still seems to be measuring on track, blood pressure and everything else is fine.  Next week I'll have another ultrasound, they'll check the fluid again and also check the size of the baby which will be interesting. 
Maternity clothes?:  Of course. 
Stretch marks?  Nope
Sleep?: I'm waking up multiple times per night now, since every time I need to pee I get the worst contraction.
Best moment this week?: Working my last stretch of work days.  I have four in a row, then I'm scheduled to be done two days before my due date.
Movement?:  Quite a bit - lots of stretching and twisting.  And most of the time when she moves now, it's painful.
Food cravings?: Not much.....just feeling too big to eat much sometimes.  Some days I'm hungrier than others.
Labor signs?: Lots of Braxton Hicks and my hip pain is pretty consistent.  I can't go to the gym anymore which really bums me out.  My hips are way to unreliable to do any movement other than what I have to do. 
Belly button in or out? Out.  And hanging out half the time, as my shirts are getting pretty short.....
What I miss: Most everything.  Ready for baby!
What I'm looking forward to: Being done with work (3 days left!), seeing our little girl on ultrasound again on Wednesday.....and eventually hopefully having a baby!

The nursery has been done for quite a while but I was waiting on a rug that I ordered.....that has never come.  So while that gets sorted out, here is her room!  I'll put her name in pink letters above her crib after she's born/we pick name.  This was a very budget friendly room....I bought some pink paint (already had the gray) and bought new curtains.  That was about the extent of the $$, but I think it turned out really pretty!

38 weeks

How far along?: 38 weeks, only two weeks until due date!  I've been going to the doctor every week now and had quick ultrasound to check the fluid this week.  Fluid looked good - 12.5, they want to see above 8 so they were happy and me too!  They induced me with Gabrielle due to low fluid so I'm glad we aren't going down that route again, at least yet.  They confirmed she is head down and ready to go!  
Total weight gain: 30lbs. 
How big is baby?: They didn't look at size at all, but she should just about cooked at this point.  They say baby will continue to gain 1/2 pound per week of chub until she is born.  Belly has been measuring where it should be, so I'm guessing we will have another one in the 7-8lb range.  It was crazy seeing her on ultrasound again.  She was so big and you could see her face so well.  Her little hand was up by her face and her lips looked so big!
Maternity clothes?:  Oh yeah.  And boy am I going to miss these same 4 shirts I wear over and over......NOT!
Stretch marks?  Nope, just sweating a lot.  Who would have thought someone could sweat so much in March? 
Sleep?: Not so great lately, I've been having really vivid, weird dreams and I had a nasty cold last week that certainly didn't help.
Best moment this week?: Non-baby related.....getting my hair highlighted!  I wanted to go a little lighter for spring and am glad I got that done before baby came.  Knowing that the fluid level was good was the best baby moment. 
Movement?:  Still quite a bit - it's weird how big her movements are sometimes.  I usually feel little feet poking out on the top left of my belly and feel hiccups on the bottom right.  Nick was sitting next to me the other night and my belly caught his eye as it was violently shaking as she was kicking.....he just looked at me in horror. 
Food cravings?: Not too many cravings....just not a lot of room left for food!
Labor signs?: Still lots of Braxton Hicks contractions and pain, nothing too exciting.  My right hip has been having issues - like coming out of joint or something that isn't any fun.
Belly button in or out? Poking out a little
What I miss: My regular clothes.....not having to wear the same things every few days.
What I'm looking forward to: Actually having a baby soon....still seems surreal!  And all those fun things we don't know yet - when it will happen, how it will happen, what she will look like, what her name will be.  Two weeks to go!

Christmas 2015

Ha!  A little late, but I wanted to get the pictures of our Christmas up.  We had a really good Christmas this year.....the kids loved it and it was so much fun getting things for them.  Gabs was really into our Elf on the Shelf (and had high expectations for him to be naughty each day).  She was really into Santa and even wrote him letters all by herself.  Oliver got Santa this year and wasn't even afraid to see him....a big improvement to last year.  Gabrielle's main request from Santa was a Indian Bollywood outfit and Oliver only asked for "Thomas".

Oliver's favorite things were paint and paint rollers, big Blue Mountain Quarry track from Santa, scissors, M&Ms, and Cars flashlight.

Gabrielle loved her Bollywood outfit, play doh dentist, Fresh Beat Band CD, and Doc McStuffins ambulance.

Christmas Eve!

We made Christmas cookies from scratch (ugh) which actually turned out very tasty.  The kids each picked one that they decorated to leave for Santa....along with rainbow hot chocolate.
