Snowed in Wednesday

Gabrielle enjoyed watching all of the men in our neighborhood snow blowing their driveways :)

Nick went out twice throughout the day to keep up......

And our little family day consisted of baking chocolate cookies (from scratch!), eating potato skins and spinach & artichoke dip for lunch (yum!), and then having chicken patties and mac & cheese for dinner.  Wowza....talk about a bad day of eating!  Luckily I was able to keep G's menu rather normal/healthy.

I did let her try a *teeny* little nibble of cookie dough though........the kid's gotta have some fun!

Oh, yeah....and we let her devour a half a chocolate chip cookie :)  It was hilarious to watch her!

She thought she was hot **** with her big girl cookie and all!

Usually a "cookie" is a teething biscuit for her, so this was a pleasant surprise :)

Once most of the snow was plowed out G couldn't wait any longer to go outside.  Gabi can't wear her boots because they only make real boots starting in size 5.  Gabrielle wears a 3 or 4 and literally cannot walk her size 5 boots.  So what do I do?  Put Gabrielle in her little sandal/tennis shoes and out we go in the snow.  It was freezing and blowing, but we walked up and down the sidewalks anyway.  With Gabs squealing and pointing at things the whole way.  Gotta love her.
