WHY?

Why the heck does Gerber sell Biter Biscuits made for TEETHING that break off into huge mouth-sized chunks seconds after entering a gummy little baby mouth?? Yeah, I found out the scary way that Biter Biscuits suck. I give one to my sweet toothless baby to gnaw on and a moment later I look at her and she is gagging because there is a giant piece of biter biscuit in her throat! She's fine...but really, don't buy biter biscuits - they're no good.

And another mystery of the baby world - is a bad attitude attributed to teething, being tired, or new baby tantrums? Who knows! Gabi has had quite the awful last couple of days....but it's anyone's guess as to why. She usually needs a couple of days to recover from busy weekends so we thought that that could be the explanation. But then we thought that she might be getting some teeth. But then I've read that babies can start throwing tantrums around seven months (and we know that she has recently discovered hitting) so maybe it's just a new development there. Who knows. Today has been a better day so for now we're going to go with the "she was just tired" theory. Babies are so confusing!

She is definitely keeping up on her talking though. Everything is "baba baba boba aba baba" all day long. I love it! She is doing a great job. She was just going to talk in her own time and there wasn't anything anybody could do about it.

One more thing - she also pulled herself up for the first time today! Sorta. She was sitting on the couch with me and grabbed the armrest and pulled herself up to standing. And then proceeded to throw a coaster and knock over a picture frame in the following 1.3 seconds :)
