We figured out that it's not just pure drama coming from an opinionated toddler.....the poor sweet pea has started to cut her molars :( The other night she has the exact same symptoms as when she was cutting her other teeth - crying during bottles and waking up in the night crying. She was drinking her bottle of milk right before bed (yes, I know we need to nix the bottle soon) and suddenly started screaming half way through. As she was lying back screaming her little head off, I noticed a big tooth poking through toward the back of her mouth on top. Yep, that's a molar. Poor baby! We put her to bed, and she ended waking up around 10:30 that night....sitting up in her bed half asleep whimpering and crying. We gave her some Tylenol and she was able to go back to sleep.
We can't see way back in her mouth very well, but she has at least one molar coming through on the top. She still has just 7 other teeth - four on the top and three on the bottom.
I read up a little bit on molar teething in toddlers and it says that molar teething is so much worse because it is much more painful as well as coupled with tantrums toddlers already have. Lovely!

Oh poor Gabi. I remember not to long ago my niece got more teeth in and she can scream let me tell you! I hope it comes in fast for gabi, to ease her pain and your ears. Take care-

oh God. the molars- pure hell.
Motrin seemed to do more than the Tylenol for Alex. and lots of ice cold freezing chew toys. and popsicles.
literally- she had popsicles at 2:30am because it was the only thing that would stop the screaming.
poor bebe!
Poor baby! Don't you hate seeing them hurt? i hope those molars don't take their sweet time coming in and give all of you some relief! :)
