23 Months

Gabrielle turned 23 months a couple of days ago, and now it's less than one month until her second birthday!  It seems like we've anticipated her turning two for so long, it's crazy that it's almost here.  Things have been crazy around here because I have been busy with photo sessions!  That is a good thing because I'm so happy to get more experience/practice.  Now that I have several sessions under my belt (and more people contacting me daily it seems) I am seriously thinking about getting something more official going.  I need to do more research and I would eventually like to set up my own small business.  And when I say small, I mean small!  I'd like something legit, but with as low overhead as possible so I'm not worried about booking enough sessions all the time.  I'd like it to be "it is what it is" and see how it goes.  Someday if all goes well, I'd like to invest in a higher end camera and another lens or two.  But we'll see!  As winter gets here, I'm sure session will slow a bit due to the weather and I'll be able to figure out what I want to do. 

We also leave for MEXICO soon...then we get back and have Gabrielle's birthday right away....and we will transition her to her big girl room.  I figured at this point we will just wait until we back from our trip to do the "remodel" since she will be in a pack 'n play at my parents while we're gone.  No use in confusing her further.
