Caresse's Shower/Bachelorette Weekend (and my birthday...yuck)

So...not much time to blog, but I HAD to get pictures up from this past weekend. Yes, I am now 27. Woot. And of course, I was sick on my birthday....AGAIN. I thought I was going to make it this year, but Gabrielle woke up with a snotty nose the day before my birthday and we both went down hill from there. This was a nasty cold too! Gabs usually never gets sick, or else she's only sick for about a day. Well, it's been six days and I feel like she is finally getting over it. Ugh.

But anyway, the big weekend went great! We spent the day on Thursday in Jackson with Jess and Brooklyn. Gabi really liked the baby! Everything was "baby baby baby" and she even "helped" Brooklyn jump in her jumparoo....aka....Brooklyn tried jumping and Gabi stood on the outside and pushed the saucer up and down as hard as she could. Haha.

Friday, Caresse and I headed into Grand Rapids for her reception tasting. Boy was that yummy!! I had cake pops for the first time and they were like the best thing I've ever eaten. They're on my list. Yeah, I have a list...ask Nick. After the tasting I headed to my parent's house to crash and rest for the night. Hello NyQuil.

The next day was the big shower and bachelorette party!! The shower went really well, it turned out nice! We went into downtown GR that night - comedy show at the BOB, followed by dancing at the Crush. So fun!
