Baby sure is growing big and strong. She'll get in her moods and just about kick the wind out of me sometimes. She has a lot of growing left to do - she is supposedly about 2 1/2 pounds right now with approximately 13 weeks left to go!
I got my gestational diabetes test results back from the doctor (the test where you drink this super sugary liquid, then have your blood drawn and glucose measured and hour later) and it actually came back with a below normal blood sugar. Obviously I haven't developed gestation diabetes which is great, but the doctor said this could be why I have had some dizzy/fainting spells and that I need to be sure to eat every couple of hours and eat enough. It's nice to know that my big appetite isn't all in my head - this little girl is using a lot of energy to grow!
This weekend I also had to take my Pudge kitty to the groomer. He has long hair and tends to develop these awful knots and mats in his fur that I can't even hardly attempt to brush or cut out. I finally found a groomer that actually took cats and made an appointment. On the way to the appointment Pudge was very anxious and not very happy leading him to make a "mess" in his cage on the way there so that started off the appointment great - messy cat in a messy cage. The groomer was very nice was able to comb some of the mats out but had to shave some of the bigger ones so my poor kitty looks like he got in a fight with some clippers and lost....
Oh well, he survived his trip to the groomer and I think he feels much better now that all of those knots are out of the fur. I just need to do a better job of keeping him brushed everyday and try and avoid the situation again :(

Poor Pudge! Plus, I just read what happened to Mav, you guys have had a lot of pet drama lately :)
