Happy Easter!

Gabrielle had a great little first Easter. The Easter bunny didn't come this year but next year he'll be here in full force. Nick's parents are in Florida for a few weeks so we went to spend the day with my parents and had a nice Easter dinner.
Her 0-3 month dress from New Years Eve still fit perfectly well (well, it actually fit now) so it was her Easter dress too!

Last Friday I took Gabi out to feel the grass for the first time. It hadn't really rained in a while so the grass was quite dry and prickly. First I put her feet down on it and she seemed interested so she sat down and started touching it. She was interested but not too thrilled. Little Gabi had her full Michigan State outfit on for the Final Four game this past Saturday but the team wasn't able to pull off a win :( We had a few people over, including an 8 month old baby girl. The babies had a lot of fun playing together, though Gabi is very into shrieking and squealing right now and every time Gabi would shriek the other baby would just stare at her and start to cry! It was so funny. That vicious cycle went on for a good hour I think.
Hmmm....I can't tell where she got her blue eyes. What do you think? :)
Gabi girl is sleeping from 9pm to 7:30am without making a peep. It is pretty nice! She is still doing the one-armed bandit thing in her swaddle but soon I'll try and take the other arm out as well. She is also a little rolling fool! She has found a great interest in rolling onto her tummy (to my disbelief....) but she still isn't very good at then rolling back onto her back.

Nick has a new hobby - buying baby clothes on eBay! He has bought a couple of boxes and we got the first one last week. There were quite a few nice things in there and I'm excited to get the next box! But since we did the eBay thing and were so frugal, I had to splurge and get our Gabrielle a pair of baby leg warmers. I've been dying to get her a pair and what baby doesn't need pink leg warmers?? Pictures to follow, of course :)

Have a good week everyone! Next Sunday Gabrielle, my mom, and I are leaving for the UP to visit my extended family (and a stop to see Becca, too)! I won't be around but I will have plenty of pics to show when I get back!
