I'm Sorry Baby Gabi

But I think you got mama's bad skin :( I'm pretty much 100% sure now that Gabi has eczema. Not that I'm complaining...having a rice allergy would be about 891673 times worse! We switched Gabi's body wash and lotion to a hypoallergenic oatmeal kind that is supposed to help with eczema and sensitive skin and I've also been Valselineing her up a few times per day. I started her first of three days of oral steroid meds yesterday and her skin already looks a TON better. She is back on rice cereal as of Sunday night and very happy about it. She kind of gets roid rage on her meds which isn't so fun, but if they make her skin feel better in the long run it's worth it.

Hmm, what else is new....Gabrielle is a little jumping bean as of late. She finally discovered jumping and has a ball doing it. She *wants* to crawl - but can't. She gets the concept but definitely isn't strong enough yet. She'll push herself all the way up on her tummy, and then reach one arm out and fall on her face. Oh well. She'll try this a few times before getting completely frustrated. I believe we will be starting her second veggie, carrots, in a few days once she's done with her meds. And, as little one is closing in on the six month mark we are prepping for another round of professional pictures!! Very exciting yet stressful at the same time. Of course we would like a few nice pictures but with the uncertainties of a baby you never know what you'll get. We're heading to the kid place in the mall again so if she freaks out and is awful we just won't pay for any prints and won't be out any money. And this time we'll be getting our first family pictures along with her individuals.

We have a big weekend ahead....Auntie Caresse is coming in from California again (flying to D-town for work but heading our way a few days early), so we'll be spending Thursday and Friday with Jess and Caresse. Then Katie, Neal, and [Gabi's future boyfriend] baby Emmett are coming down on Saturday :) Fun times! Alright, I'll leave you with a couple of pictures of the babe.
