It's Thanksgiving time again and we had such a relaxing, enjoyable day! Last year Gabrielle was exactly two weeks old on Thanksgiving day, and we were definitely still totally in the newborn zombie haze. I was exclusively nursing (which is exhausting in itself for the first few weeks) and we were getting used to being a family of three. This year our darling girl was walking around entertaining herself and eating Thanksgiving dinner at the table! We went to my parents' this year and my mom made dinner in her new kitchen. We all had a great day with plenty of leftovers too!
My parents brought up my rocking chair from when I was a kid and Gabi was obsessed with getting on and off of it, and making it rock too!
Nick was busy reading and watching the Lions.....lose.
Gabi and her darn fire truck....I think we heard the fire truck song about 500 times yesterday.
Yummy cheesy garlic bread bites. Notice that there's only about 5 left 10 minutes after they were finished baking :)

Pumpkin and dutch apple pies. Poor pumpkin got pretty neglected though with that yummy apple there too!
