Well, if you thought she shoe update was exciting you'll love this. Our little G bear must have hit some level of maturity because for the past few weeks she will go and hide to do her "business". Yes, that's right, depending on where we are, Gabi will either crawl under a table or over in a corner and proceed to poo. I have no idea why, but she started doing this around her birthday. I guess I have heard of older kids (aka 2 and 3 year olds) doing this....but a 12 month old?? Is that normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
In other news, Nick's hunting season has pretty much wrapped up. He got a big buck and a doe, but was hoping to get one more. He's getting the buck mounted but that will live at Ron and Billies (thank goodness)! I have made peace with the fact that I'm sure we will end up with one or more mounted deer in our house at some point, especially if our child/ren hunt too. Hopefully by then we will have a bigger house though!
Here are a few pictures from a couple of days ago. Some friends got Gabi a baby stroller for her birthday, so now G loves pushing her doll around in it!
And she has a new-found love for her dinosaur that Uncle Greg got her this summer.
This is about 0.5 seconds before my lens got demolished with sticky little fingers :)
Another current favorite - her xylophone! She gets soooo happy when she hits it and makes "music" :)

How fun! And sounds like your little girl is turning into quite the young lady too. Maybe she'll be an early potty trainer!
