Gabrielle had fun playing in the sandbox and running around at the vball games, and we had a huge crew there that night so there were lots of people to give loving to Gabs. Saturday morning we headed to the lake and had a fun/busy day there. Gabi went strong all day and of course paid for the it the next. Sarah, Mark, Steve, and Alexis came out the first day, and then Amanda, Todd, Jeff, Christine, and Ian came out the next. Of course there were tons of people there on the 4th! I was SO excited Gabrielle went to bed at usual around 8:30 and slept through the fireworks until 8:30 the next morning. Awesome! She actually slept really well all weekend there, minus the first night. Nick ended up sleeping on the couch the last two nights, and Gabrielle slept really well then.
Gabi lived off of M&Ms, Twizzlers, Fig Newtons, and chocolate covered raisins the whole weekend. I don't know why, but the kiddo will not eat anything but junk out there. Right when we get home she will got back to eating normal though. Oh well, it could be worse I guess. She absolutely LOVED the water! She walked in it, picked up rocks, swam deep with us, sat in her baby floaty.....pretty much anything to do with the water she loved. She still didn't like the hard wakes than came into shore, but she got though it. She also jet skied for the first time! I was out on the boat with our friends and Nick drove by on the jet ski with our baby sitting in front of him!! Ha! I was the craziest thing! He was going super slow and G really liked it. We went out as a family the next day - Nick drove, I sat behind him, and Gabi sat in between us. She's such a dare devil. Oh, and a few new words of course - door, hole, book, read, and bow (as in hair bow). She's working hard on her two word combos, but they're not too good yet. She has a few, but on her way to many more.
AND, she finally learned how to jump. Yep, she's actually getting air and jump jump jumping away.
The girls :)

She loved ice and drinking water out of Solo cups.

Trying to play washers with the boys

Two peas in a pod....

Whenever Gabrielle was inside, she pretty much wanted to go outside swimming. All we heard was "ah-wah! ah-see!!" (water outside) all the time...................

Gabrielle discovered noodles and had fun playing Gladiator with them all weekend!
