Memorial Day 2013

We all went to the lake for Memorial Day, just like every year.  It was Oliver's first time at the lake and he did pretty well!  After a bit of a rough time in the UP, I was wondering how he would do there for the weekend, but it was good!  Gabrielle went fishing as much as she possibly could.  She probably caught about 30 fish throughout the weekend.  She fished from the dock, the shore, and went out on the paddle boat and fished in the middle of the lake with Nick too.  She's learning how to cast by herself, but the timing is still a bit tricky for her.  Nick stepped on a pipe in the water while putting the dock in, and sliced open his food pretty good.  Then Nick, Gabi, Corinne, and Isaiah fell in the water when the dock collapsed while they were on it :/  Exciting stuff!  It was a bit to cold to go swimming but everyone still had a great time.
