I guess the most important update is that Nick and I are expecting our first baby! I am due November 9th and we couldn't be happier!
Things have been going well with the pregnancy for the most part....I had morning sickness (really all day, from sun up to sun down, sickness) for about five or six weeks, but since then I have felt pretty great and am really starting to get some energy back. The baby's heartbeat was 171 at 8 weeks, 180 at 9 weeks, and 160 at 13 weeks which all were great per the doctor. We will go in for our ultrasound in 2-4 weeks to be sure everything is developing well and also to find out the gender! We deceided (pretty easily, thankfully) that we wanted to know the sex ahead of time to be able to decorate and plan how we wanted to - but the name will be kept a secret until the baby is born...so stay tuned!
