Lots of Updates...Remodeling

Yes, it has been months since I have been blogging however there were a few good reasons - long work days, house renovations, additions animals, and one other little thing. We'll start with the house! We have a tri-level house so our basement/lowest level is only half under ground, therefore quite nice and livable. When we moved in it was just a concrete floor, drywalled walls, and no ceiling. We put in a ceiling last year but had been dragging our feet to get the flooring done, walls, painted and furniture in there. Well, we finally decided to just do it (which also brings us to the next update) so we would have more living area. Here are a couple of before and after pics for your enjoyment :)

We also redid our floors in our living room. We used to have old berber carpet and we replaced it with wood laminate (for the dogs). Here is a quick snapshot of the update:
