As I posted before, I have started working very part-time. I am working as a contract health screener and travel to different companies to do health screenings on their employees. I work only when I want to, but the downside is that work is not always plentiful. Availability goes up and down throughout the year, and now that we have Gabrielle I only do local jobs within Michigan. So far my mom has been able to babysit when I work, so that has been nice. I really don't think daycare is for us and our situation right now so I'm happy she has a family member that can take care of her when I'm gone. I am also continuing to work out at the gym. There was a small hiccup in my attendance due to a cold, then work, etc....but I'm keeping at it the best I can. They just started offering group fitness classes so I've been hitting those about once a week. My weight loss journey slowly continues....I am just about back to myself again. Twenty three pounds fell off by two weeks after I gave birth, I have worked off four pounds since then (pathetic, I know), and I have about five more pounds to lose. Really, I am pretty happy with how my body has snapped back (ok, "snapped back" may be a bit a stretch but it's darn close!) Other than that, I have just been spending lots of time with our Gabi girl soaking up all of the baby moments I can.
Speaking of Gabi, I can't not post a few pics of our little one :)
