One day she takes one nap in the middle of the day; the next she goes down an hour after waking up and then again in the afternoon. So much for being able to plan things - it's like she's a newborn again and who knows when she will sleep!
Her eating is just as erratic. Yesterday she ate crackers and pickles for lunch, and taco meat and raspberries for dinner. Anything else offered was simply not acceptable.
Even her hair is out of control. One day it's really shaggy............
And then the next it is straight out fuzzy.........
But it all doesn't matter because this little sweetie is perfect no matter what.
We went to Nick's Mishler family Christmas this weekend and Gabi got to finish meeting that side of the family (the Tangi's to be exact). They moved to Florida last year and weren't up for Christmas to meet the new babies so this year was their first! Gabi had sooooo much fun at the Christmas. She took a nap in the morning before we left (thank goodness) and then was up from about 10:30 in the morning to 8:00pm that night - going full speed the whole time. She was obsessed with her booster chair and carried it around and climbed on it for about an hour and a half. She walked around the whole day with a Ritz cracker in her hand, and that was about her only nutrition for the day. She had so much fun - she slept for 13 hours that night and then 4-5 hours worth of naps the next day. She was beat!
And I'm SO excited...we finally got her Christmas present in the mail yesterday! We got her a Pottery Barn Kids Anywhere Chair - the coolest thing to get your young toddler this holiday season :) But really, it is a great gift for a one year old. At 13 months she doesn't really get Christmas and won't care if she doesn't have a zillion packages to unwrap. The chair is her main gift (and should last her as long as she wants it.....I fit in it!) and then she has a few other small gifts.
I just can't wait for Christmas now! We baked a batch of cookies this morning for dinner at Steve and Alexis' tonight. Nick cooks Christmas dinner but I still have a bit more baking to do for the Taylor Christmas on the 26th. Caresse is coming in from Cali and we are going wedding dress shopping for her at the place where I got my dress (love it!!) so that should be so fun too! Lots to look forward to!
And here is one more funny pic :) Have a great Christmas!!!!!
"Omg, my mommy's fashion sense is so embarrassing!!"

Hi Im a new visitor and follower. Your daughter is just precious! I miss those days! My daughter is now 5, and hardly naps = booo! I remember when she was around your daughters age I had the same kind of problems, one day there would be naps, no food would be thrown and clothes wouldn't get stained. Then the next the complete opposite. Lol!
Lynn, I always love your Gabi updates. Sounds like shes really been having fun. And that last pic, adorable.
That was adorable! Her hair is so like Asher's was at that age! It was never just happy, flat and going well! I miss it!
