Down to one?

Nap per day, that is.  I think Gabi is beginning to start to transition to one nap per day.  This is not fun though, because she really can't function on one nap yet.  She's at that icky in between stage.  Some days she will only take one nap but is pretty awful/high maintenance in the evening.  Other times she will take two naps (that I have to force and if I'm lucky she will sleep for a bit) and she is wired at night.  What to do?

Also, little G-Force can now go down the stairs by herself.  She goes down backwards on her tummy.  Usually, we still have to help get her started on her tummy at the top of the stairs, but today Mother of the Year forgot to put the baby gate up at the top of the stairs when we were up there and suddenly I look over and G is sliding down the last couple of the stairs on her tummy smiling at me and then running away when she gets to the bottom.  Omg.  Thank goodness my kid is competent and can pick up my slack when I forget things or she wouldn't have made it this far! :)

Her hair still keeps us guessing.  We went out for dinner one night this past week and when her babysitter walked in she said that Gabi's hair color changes each time she comes over!  As it keeps growing in thicker it is a dark brown, but for a while it changed from blondish, to reddish, to brownish depending on the moment. 

One of the 20 times per day the kid bonks her noggin. 

Her most favorite book ever!!  We read this waaaay too many times a day.  She will drag the giant book over to me and then turn around and wait for me to pick her up and set her on lap to read it to her.  :)

She loves any toys that have to do with ball or blocks right now

Her pillow pet gets lots of use as a pillow and chair.
