It's Winter

On our anniversary we woke up to the first "sticking" snow of the year and everything was frozen, slippery, and covered in snow!  I always love the snow and chilly winter weather for about two months, and then I'm so over it and ready for it warm up again....but that usually doesn't happen until May :/

We bundled up Gabs and went to get our Christmas tree yesterday.  Last year our tree ended up pretty small and kind of thin....this year we over did it a little.  We still have to decorate it so I'll post pictures once it's done.  We got it into the house ok when it was all bundled, but once we cut the ropes it blew up so big and takes up about a quarter of our living room.  It may need to be dismembered to get it out of our house after the holidays.....

Gabi's snow pants actually worked out great!  She couldn't really walk in her gear but she stood there just fine :)

G has taken another step toward woman-hood.  She got her first pony tail a few days ago!  She did not like me putting it in, and it didn't stay in very long. It makes for cute pictures though, right??  Her hair is still crazy....I think she is working on growing her third batch of hair.  She was born with a bunch of dark hair, lost it all, then grew in some random long strands of hair just on the top of her head (as seen below).  Now there is a whole new batch starting to grow under it all around her little head.  Maybe someday our little lady will actually have a legit head of hair?

One of G's currents favorites is to climb on and off her Pooh train.  It is still big for her so she occasionally falls off of it and then the train falls on top of her.  She's not the biggest fan of that, but she continues to climb on that train all the time, so she must not be too traumatized!
