Seven Months Old!

Gabrielle is seven months old!!! She is officially over the hump and on her way to being one YEAR old. Oh my. I still can't believe that Gabi has only been in this world seven months. Summer is just so weird this year, because all I can think of is that at this time last year I was pregnant with this little being. I had a bump on my stomach but we had no idea if it was a boy or a girl, if it was healthy, or any idea of what this little person was going to be like. It is so odd because I was effortlessly 100% in love with Gabrielle moments after she was born, but it's as if I'm 200% in love with her now. I don't know how it works - I feel like I love her more everyday, but I loved her with all my heart when she was born. The math just doesn't add up but I guess when it comes to loving your babies, there is no math involved!

Gabrielle at seven months old:

• Wears all size 3-6 month clothes. She can wear a few 6-9 month pieces such a dresses where it doesn't really matter if they're big.
• In size 3 diapers. She is also now a Huggies baby. Huggies are cheaper and work just as well, if not better, than Pampers. She has stopped having her poopslosions since we switched brands, and there has also been a lot of controversy over the new DryMax Pampers giving babies chemical burns...I really don't want to think about that.
• Loves her veggies but I have to hide her fruit in her oatmeal. We started applesauce on Thursday and she'll eat it just fine with her cereal.
• Still doesn't talk. Cripes. She laughs, squeals, shrieks, and coos, but that is it. We get to go back to the doctor soon so they can check on Gabi's speech and who knows what they are going to do.
• Her favorite thing to do is lay on our bed and roll around like a maniac. She'll push up on her hands and knees on the bed and just roll around like crazy.
• We moved her pack 'n play mattress down low this past week.
• Still loves playing with her toys, puts everything in her mouth, and is obsessed with anything that she is not supposed to have (i.e. grass, my wallet, the remote control, our cell phones, pulling out and eating animal fur, etc....)
• Takes two naps per day - one in the morning and another in the afternoon. Sleeps for about 10-11 hours a night - Approximately 8:30 or 9:00pm to about 7:00 or 7:30am.
