World Traveler

This weekend Gabi had her second overnight stay and it was with Grandma and Grandpa Taylor this time! I was a little nervous about this one, but Gabrielle did AWESOME! Nick and I had a night away....we went up to Mt. Pleasant to the casino and had a blast. We ate lunch at Red Lobster and got seated next to the most eccentric, crazy old ladies ever which was quite entertaining. We gambled at the casino....I tore it up on the roulette table - haha not really. We had a great time gambling (lost some money in the end though...darn), ate a delish dinner, and then stayed at a hotel nearby. We dropped Gabi off with her Grandma and Grandpa at about 10am on Sunday and picked her up around 11:30am on Monday. I guess she did so well - played a lot, took her naps, ate her food, went to bed! Ron and Billie even took her to church with them (Nick and I thought they were crazy) but reportedly she didn't even make a peep and was a very good girl at the service. I'm so glad everything went well and it definitely wore Gabi right out. When we came to pick her up she was happily playing on the floor with Grandma...I came in and picked her up and gave her a big hug but when I tried to set her down a couple of minutes later to start packing up she just screamed. Once we were back she wasn't going to let us leave again :) She had a fit in the car on the way home and then she napped for almost three hours once we got her in her crib....poor baby was so wiped out!

We had quite the time at volleyball last Friday....Mommy everyone else had a long island (or two) so Daddy and Grandpa Ron were on Gabi duty.

My little pumpkin even fell asleep while playing yesterday....

We have gotten a lot of use out of our Boppy pillow...it has now transitioned into a book-holder-upper

A couple of weekends ago we had our Ferris "reunion" in Saranac. It was so nice to see everyone all in one place again! Here is a picture of the old roomies, plus the newest addition of course :)
