First attempt with seamless paper

So, I bought a roll of seamless paper a while ago and haven't ever used it.  It doesn't exactly seem "seamless" to me - it seems like a big roll of thick paper....but whatever.  And I also bought a stand for it (hence the "finally using it part").  So, I have the paper and I have the stand.  It still took a week or so to actually put it together and attempt to use it.  I put it together during Gabrielle's nap today and was hoping to take a few quick pics when she woke up.  Hmm...well she was terrified of standing on the paper and these are the blurry images I got as she ran screaming back toward me........

Ha.  Well, then I put her little lambie on the paper and suddenly it was ok.  She ran back on it and was all smiles now that lamb was sitting on the paper....then she was thrilled that the paper crinkled under her feet when she stomped on it.  See, I found it was not so "seamless" afterall.  Oh yeah, and she was holding my lens cap in pretty much all of the pictures.  Told you it was a quick experiement!
Also, the paper is gray but it looks really blue in photos.  The lighting was really bad that day so the photos are a bit underexposed/grainy - maybe that's why it looks blue?  Not sure.
