Social Butterfly

We've been going nonstop the past few days! Caresse flew in from California Thursday morning and we spent the day with her and Jess shopping, eating, and well, talking of course. Caresse left Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with her mom and family and we geared up for Neal, Katie, and baby Emmett's visit on Saturday.

We finally got to meet their little man Emmett and boy was he a cutie! He is two months younger than Gabi and weighs about a pound more than her. He is a sweet little guy and still a swishy baby so I confiscated him a good amount of the day. My baby is too busy trying to attack dogs to want to cuddle with her mama anymore :(

"No actually, on second thought, I don't think this is going to work out!"
We had a great day with the Sias family and headed out to Ron and Billies on Sunday for a Mother's Day dinner/morel mushroom hunt. Gigantor (Landyn) is about a head taller than Gabi but cannot yet sit up....so Gabi would sit up next to where he was laying, taunt him, and take his pacifier out of his mouth. Oh my. Both were pretty happy the majority of the day and actually slept through dinner (score!) but awoke with a vengeance after we were done. A long day with minimal or no naps (Gabi) leads to an interesting evening. It was a busy but fun weekend!

The only toys Gabi wanted to play with were the toys that Landyn was playing with. It didn't matter what it was...whatever he had must have been way better than what she had because she'd grab it from him every time.

The babies with Grandma Billie
